A BCA graduate who'd rather be shipping stores than sitting in theory class.
I finished my Bachelor of Computer Applications in 2024, but most of what I actually use day to day I picked up outside the classroom — building real sites for real clients, breaking Shopify themes and fixing them, and slowly figuring out what makes a store feel fast and trustworthy instead of just "finished."
My first proper role was at Zofonix, a digital marketing services company, where I got thrown into WordPress builds, Shopify storefront management, and Meta Ads all at once. That mix stuck — I still don't think of "developer," "designer," and "marketer" as separate jobs. A store needs all three to actually work.
Right after finishing my degree, I went through a full stack developer training program to round out my front-end work with proper back-end fundamentals, which is where the current shift toward more custom Shopify theme development came from — I'd rather build a section from scratch than fight a template into doing something it wasn't meant to.
Outside of client work, I keep two personal Shopify builds running at all times — partly to test ideas I can't try on client stores, and partly because I genuinely like doing it.
How I work
Design-first: I'd rather start from a Figma file or a Canva mock than a blank Shopify editor.
What I care about
Load speed and mobile experience — most traffic on the stores I build is mobile.
